Cali Binks Recognized by Board of Education

The Superintendent of the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, Cali Binks, has been chosen to receive the Exemplary Women in Education Award from the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA). This prestigious state-level award recognized women leaders who serve as powerful role models in education.

The Exemplary Women in Education Award is presented annually to a select group of administrators who demonstrate a passion for education, a strong commitment to grow and develop others, and a dedicated commitment to giving back to the community. Superintendent Binks was one of only two recipients selected for this honor this year from ACSA's more than 17,000 members statewide.

While being recognized at the District’s September 9th Board of Education meeting, Board President Cathy Bogh said, “Cali, as we all know, is an absolutely incredible superintendent, mentor, and individual. We are all so happy to see her recognized in a way that is truly deserved at the state level.”

Superintendent Binks will be formally honored at ACSA’s Women in School Leadership Forum later this month in Santa Rosa, California.
